if you set the camera to POSTCARD mode (I think that's what it's called) it'll allow you to put a date on the pix. I have have a pic I took in that mode, so I know for certain that you can set the camera....

You made me want to try the colour out on my SD700. I find it to be right on.

Here a couple taken while waiting at my Doctors office today. ISO is 400. Irene it does not show on the Metadata on the photo on the computer but it does show on the data on the back of my camera. Don't really know why and for me it does not matter. I think these pictures are pretty good with no flash. No daylight. I am quite happy at what this camera is doing.

Hi Shari,

Very nice. I have a feeling this is the camera for you..... That's fantastic!!! Enjoy it. You'll have to post some outdoor shots.

Speaking of outdoor shots, here's the morning sunrise skyright outside my home as I was going to work yesterday. Taken on the Fuji F30. I'm still waiting for the replacement f31fd.

Hi Irene - Here are a couple of outdoor taken yesterday. I have already made the tree into a card for someone. Today it is snowing. Hopefully next week I will really be able to get out and try some stuff!!!

I don't know how to post two photos at the same time. I use Pixentral. Here is another.

Hi Irene, How is the camera hunting going? This is a Alstroemeria I took today in low light, no flash, hand heldand on macro. I didn't play with the ISO. Some noise but I like the effect. I am quite pleased with this little camera (little being the operative word)!

Very nice pictures Shari. Have you decided to keep your camera? I will be keeping my Fuji F31fd. I have 2 pictures, both taken on auto no flash in my office. Both cameras were set to factory default settings. The Fuji F30 is a little brighter, but less sharp, while the f31 is a bit darker but sharper with more detail. This will be the end of the low-light testing for me, and really, the lowest light I expect to be taking a picture in... so here goes... tell me which picture you like better.

First the F30 - run through Neat Image and resized.

Now the f31fd.

Again - Auto no flash, run though Neat Image and resized.
