My parents (70+ yr old) want to get a digital camera. They like the ease of sharing photos and the quality of photos that they see in the pics their kids take.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"They have an older olympus slr film camera with automatic focus and exposure. They are looking for a small to medium size digital camera with a good (great) viewfinder. They don't really like using the lcd to compose the photo. They like to hold the camera up to their eye to take the picture. They will use the camera in the auto or p setting most of the time. They are taking mostly pictures of people indoors and outdoors.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I am looking at the Olympus sp350, cannon g7 and nikon 7900.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"If any of you folks have a suggestion I'd love to hear it.

I would take a look at the Canon S3 IS. It has an electronic viewfinder, but you still need to hold the camera up to your eye. Personally I love electronic viewfinders but opinions vary. The best camera's for great viewfinders are always DSLR's but that is a bit more complicated and costly.
