Wow, very cool. Yeah I'm sure we'll take my excilim and her powershot with us as well. Am I right in buying the P-880 in addition to the other two? Is it a marked "step up"? What would you guys do?

Choop-

If you really want the "wide angle" shots you spoke of initially, then the Kodak P-880 is the way to go. Here is a sample photo.

Alright, I'm ready to purchase the P-880!!

I've been searching prices for the last couple of hours. Does anyone know of any good deals I may not have seen??

And thanks again to all of you for your help. I know your suggestions have made our upcoming honeymoon that much more special.

Choop-

http://www.costco.com has recently had the best price on the Kodak P-880. Here is a sunset photo that I just took (1728 01/23/07).

I think Costco sold out of the P880 several weeks ago.

Go here for places selling the camera. I think Beach Cameras has a decent reputation.

You should probably buy soon as it seems this camera is sellng out fast.

Show us some pics when you get back from Italy, ok?

Robbo is very correct-

The P-880 has become a bit scarce. www.beachcamera.com is a very reputable dealer and one that I would personally recommend. Here is another P-880 photo for you.

Thanks guys, I think I'll order with Beach tonight. $324 aint a bad price at all. I'll definately share my Italy pics with you when we get back.

Anyone know how big of an SD card the P880 takes? I want to get a huge one but I'll also have my notebook on the ship with us so I can upload each days photos and clear off the card.

Also Sarah, were all the photos that you posted from the P880? And did you use stitching software on them?

Choop-

No, I did not use stitching software. For example the sunset was right out of my P-880 taken this very evening. The decision is of course yours, Choop, but if you really desire "wide angle" photos, then the P-880 is the camera to do it.

Ok I lied.... lol.

My fiance wanted me to check with you guys to make sure that we will be able to develop the photos that we take with the P880 at a place like Costco. Also, can we take wide angle shots and use the lense to its full capability in standard sizes like 4x6, 5x7 etc....

Again, thank you sooooo much!!
