Well Im looking at buying a cheaper compact camera to take on trips and activities and was considering the V10 or one of the Exilims but not sure one what to do. I like them both and I like the price beings I can get either one for around $160. But I guess what I want mostly out of the camera is good clear quality pictures. But if neither one of these cameras are all that great and you guys think there would be something else better that I would like and fit my price range let me know. That would be great. I appreciate the help...Thanx Ben

Ben -

Each of the camera you have selected have some limitations. As long as you are taking photos outside or flash photos within 10 feet of the subject, they will give you good service. However, you might want to take a look at Steve's Best Camera List. Here is the link:

Have a great weekend.

Well the main reason I am buying a camera is for a trip I will be taking to california to go 4 wheeling in the sand dunes so 90% of my pictures im sure will be more than 10feet away. Are there and cameras that would be good for that, that are on the top list and under 200?..Thanx for your hlep.

ben-

The 10 foot restriction is only for FLASH photos. Considering your vacation activities, perhaps a smaller camera such as the Kodak V-550 (which does have an optical viewfinder) would be a bit more handy for you. It can be carried in a shirt pocket.

I see...so as far as outside photos and no flash what would be the better camera then between say the V10 and the Exilim Z6.

Ben there is no model Z-6 produced by Casio. There is a model Z-60 and a model Z-600. I the decision was mine, I would choose the Fuji V-10. Here is a review on the V-10:

And here is a review of the Casio Z-60:
