Here in the United States the Kodak C-875 is selling for $(US) 130.00 to $(US) 150.00. It has 5X optical zoom, 8mp and has received very good reviews.

The Canon A-710 IS is certain a good camera and it has excellent reviews. The Fuji F-30 has great low light level shooting capabilities. However, some folks do not like the "look" of the F-30's outdoor (sunlight) images.

The A710IS and F30 both have good manual controls available (though they also perform well in fully automatic modes). If you only want to use the automatic mode, though, the F20 will give the same quality as the F30, but with a less powerful battery, for less money.

If by wide zoom, you mean you want a wide angle, then look at the Canon SD800IS or Panasonic FX-07.

If you mean you want a wide zoom range, and it doesn't matter if it's a larger camera, then you should look at the superzooms, like the Kodak Z650, Panasonic FZ-7, Sony H2, and Fuji S6000.
