Hello all, New here
Looking for sugggestions for a new camera, or maybe just a waterproof case for my current one.
Heres one of the nicer pictures i have taken recently..

I currently have a Sony DSC-S600

I was wondering if this camera can take better quality pictures (if i tinkered with the manual settings). or should i invest in a more expensive better quality camera?

I have a budget of about 300-400 $. preferablly a waterproof camera or one that has a good waterproof case made for it.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

The Sony S-600 is a very samll and capable camera, though it is not a waterproof camera. If you wanted a waterproof camera, you might want to take a look at the Pentax W-20, that was recently reviewed by Steve. Take a look at the review:

Take a look at Steve's Best Camera list
http://www.steves-digicams.com/best_cameras.html
Near the bottom of the list are the all-weather cameras.

Yes thats exatly what i was looking for. Probably wont be making too many underwater shots, want it more as protection against my wet fingers/ in case i drop it in the water.
Have one question though, will i lose quality when taking picutres with the case on while the camera is out of the water?
Thanks

Mr. Fisherman-

The description claims that there is no distortion. I just did a web search for you. I have never used the product.
