(just a regular one) I was wanting ot upgrade to something a little mroe detailed/professional. what is the best camera to purchase. Yes I would like to take pictures but only in my spare time, so I wouldnt need anything to spectacular. Thank for any help.

What camera do you currently have?

Have a look at the Canon A series, these have point and shoot ease but also have full manual control for when you want to be more creative. I have the A520 and it has produced some great shots. The more modern A710 will only set you back around $245 and probably less if you shop about.

Of course all the other manufacturers have their own equivalent, Kodak have a nice line of very easy to use cameras. It is probably worth having a fiddle in a shop or with a friends camera to see which you prefer.

Hope this is of some help!
