I have had the Fuji E550 for about 2 years now. It's worked great, and I've had no problems. Well other than image problems in really bright indoor lighting (taking pictures of indoor pool areas never seems to work well for me.)

But other than that, things worked great. Christmas Eve (of course) I get a zoom error. Changed batteries didn't help.

I sent it back to Fuji in January, they sent it supposidly fixed back to me the end of February. Worked great, no problem. I just got the zoom error again last night (and I did look here and saw a fix, but the fix didn't work for me). Apparently, this is a common thing with the Fuji's.

So now I'm in search of a new camera. I'm due with baby #2 in two months, I can't risk having a camera that has this problem.

I'm looking for something in the $200 range.

5-6 MP is plenty for me.

Somewhat quick Flash Recovery time (kids are quick)

Something that's at least a little sturdy.

Fuji's now scare me because of this problem. I'm looking at Sony's, since I have a sony handycam that doesn't give me any grief. Although any other suggestions would be fine as well.
