Hi there,

Hi Guys, bit of a noob here in the camera department.

This will be my first digi cam that I wil have bought, I have used mates and always loved photography but never really gone into it, now my birthday bought in some money and am looking to go into it some.

I have always been under the impression that fuji were the best in the compact digi field but I am beggining to wonder now...

Im after a cam that can take good pics in lowish light, bright daylight and have a good macro mode....while being small and cheapish:?

The one's I have shortlisted is Fuji F30 and F650, both small and have good features...being pulled more towards the F30.

Just to explain that the F30 is at the top of my budget as I will need to buy mem card and case.

I am a begginer in the photography department as I said but I DO NOT want a cam that is totally auto either, part of the fun is setting it up to get that oh so perfect shot.

Any help would be most helpful:-)

Cheers, Dougiebabe

Edited to say: Macro is a veryyyy important feautre that I will NEED. Most of the pics I will be taking is macro, SO MACRO IS NEEDED.

Thanks again, Doug.
