I don't know if this is the best place to ask this question. I think most of the forum members are interested in still cameras (which sometimes have video capabilities), which are usually more than $100.

However, here's an option: the Aiptek IS-DV2 combo still camera/camcorder is selling for $99.99 at Circuit City. I don't have it. I have never used one of these. They look kind of flimsy to me, but for the money, they give uninterpolated 3 Megapixel still shots and MPEG-4 videos. They come with 16 megs of memory. You can add up to a 2 Gigabyte SD card to them.

Here's an alternative to consider. Get a digital still camera, something like one of the Canon A-5XX series. Thenewly arrived A550 has 7 megapixel still images and a decent video mode, too. It's selling for less than $180 online. I recommend www.buydig.com but other people have other favorite places to buy. That camera has 4X optical zoom, not 4X digital zoom like the Aiptek. I think it's a much better camera if you can afford it.
