Hey guys, after doing a little research i guess the underwater camera can wait a while. Looking for a camera that will be used mostly outside, taking pictures around water and such. i had a Sony DSC-S600 which served me well but the screen cracked last week so i guess its time for a new camera. Wouldnt mind another sony, so i can use my memory stick:-) but open to suggestions on all models.
My only real preference is that it uses regualar AA batteries instead of rechargeables.
Might even buy another of the same model as it took some really nice pictures IMO

Thanks & Happy Easter

Unfortunately all the current "weatherproof" cameras use proprietary Li rechargeables as far as I can tell. So if AAs are a must you'll simply have to define the rest of your requirements and see what fits.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I'd start with Steve's Best Cameras list.

Thanks

for around $350 you can either get the Sony DSC-H2, or the Canon S3 is, me I like the canon over the Sony, but that's just preference.
