WHAT DO I DO!

i've been stressing over this for a week now
I keep going back to the s3is, i'm in Canada and can get the s3is for about $360 + tax and the sd630 for $259 or newer sd750 for about $50 more

I like the idea of the smaller elph series and nice large 3" screen , with digic 3 processor etc, but it doesnt have a viewfinder

with the s3is I get 12x zoom, image stabilzer and a ton of features

From all the reviews it seems like the s3is is the way to go ...
any ideas?

Carry size vs full features and manual flexibility... my search lead me to a compromise between these two... the A710IS.

Although the A series is close in price, the A series doesn't have that great of an optical zoom, where as the S3 has 12x optical zoom with image stabilization. In my opinion the S3 is an unbeatable camera for the price. Not just for the zoom and IS, but for the manual control you have over your pics.

This is a pretty solid compromise.

A710is: 6x Zoom / 2 AA batteries / image stabilizer / manual controls / compact size
S3IS: 12x Zoom / 4 AA batteries / image stabilizer / manual controls / bulky
Elph: 3-4x Zoom / proprietary battery / possible image stabilization / reduced manual functionality / super compact size

i prefer a medium-large camera, because I have hands that are on the big side of average and i like having something to hold onto.
