I have been browsing around for almost two hours now on different review sites and for the past bit on amazon.
There are so many...
I want :
preferably with 8-10mp
a viewfinder
I want a compact camera, without the little nob some have to wrap your fingers around (?), I want a rectangle one.
Under 300$

Here are some I bookmarked.
Canon PowerShot SD900 Titanium 10MP
Fujifilm Finepix F31fd 6.3MP http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...52&sr=1-13
Casio Exilim EX-Z1050 10.1MP

But really I dont know.
I seems that most people are happy with most of the cameras (reviews on amazon) but many of the camera's get complainta about bad facial shots or bad shots in low lighting.

Thank you guys for your replies.

Rather than depend on Amazon user reviews by people of unknown qualifications why not check the review professionals like Steve:

or cut to the chase with Steve's Best Camera list:

or DP Review:

Reading from these sources will help you seperate fact from rumor, improve your knowledge and better define your requirements.

Most find the "little knob on the side" an improvement in grip which makes the camera steadier thereby delivering sharper photos.
