My older Kodak 4330 is on its last leg and am looking to upgrade and purchase a new camera. I am trying to decide between the Fuji S700, Canon SD800is, and Canon A630. I have read some positive reviews on all of these cameras. Concerned mostly with the best picture quality, color and clarity. I tend to be more of a point and shooter rather than using manual controls. I am looking for the better all around camera, however, I cannot seem to find out as much info on the Fuji S700. Any comments would be appreciated?

Those are three very different models

SD800 - ultracompact, 3.8x zoom which will fit in your pocket. 195g with battery.

A630 - compact model 4x zoom, good manual controls and rotating LCD. 315g with batteries.

S700- budget 10x superzoom. 406g with batteries.

If you are willing to consider the Fuji S-700, you ought to also take a good look at the Fuji S-600fd as it is a better, more capable camera. Here is a sample photo, taken withoutflash, handheld, and the photo was taken inside as well. It pretty well shows the capabilities of the Fuji S-6000,
