Is the TZ 3 worth the extra money right now? I have a FZ5 which I love but it is too bulky to carry around all the time, however I am not sure I want to give up the zoom. I typically don't print pics bigger than 4x6 so was thinking that the TZ1 was good enough, but I am also one that likes to have the latest technology. Any pros cons to either.

Shawna-

I own the TZ-1 and have liked it a lot. It has the usual Panasonic poor high ISO capabilities. But it is a very capable camera under sunny day conditions. It makes an excellent travel and snapshot camera.

The TZ-3 has not fare well in the reviews, though it does have a nice 28mm wide angle position on the lens 28-280mm lens. It was reviewed on http://www.dcresource.com. You can get a brand new TZ-1 for around $(US) 180.00 and the TZ-3 will cost about $(US) 100.00 more. I have attached a typical travel photo from the TZ-1 for you.
