I'd like to be able to get a good quality 8x10 print from a camera, something I can frame, without doing much photoshop. My family isn't ready to lug a DSLR, but I want something more then a point-n-shoot.

I was considering the H9, it's reviews have make me a bit nervous. The S5 reviews will probably be out in a month or so and I'd like to have a camera before that. It seems that CA and soft edges are common with the super-zooms.

Will the H9 make a good 8x10? What's comparable to the H9 that will make a good 8x10?

1. H9-8x10? Can't answer. 2. Comparable cameras that can make 8x10? Every one of the cameras on Steve's Best Cameras list (http://www.steves-digicams.com/best_cameras.html) in the 10x-12x Superzoom list can make good 8x10s. Personal expeience, I've made good 8x10s from my Kodak Z612. I don't use Photoshop.
