I noticed the H2 for under 200 180 at Target? hmm may be only regional

It's a steal at $229 and a robbery at $180! I disn't know Target carry this camera.

Probably the reason IS is less important to me at wide angles than tele is that I can fairly reliably handhold a 35mm equiv. at 1/4 sec. As they say everyone's mileage may very.

Point well made. However, at my age (74) I am not that rock steady, therefore, IS is a very pleasant assist.
