Rooky-
Yes, living in your car is certainly an option. But for me, i have to make a buck or two as I cruise through life. I would nstay with your 10D. I have a 20D and it keeps the food on the table.

Well I got the Canon 16-35MM II 2.8 lens for my 10D. Was content with that. Thenmy wife surprises me with a 5D for my birthday. So I guess I'm going with the 5D and use my 10D as a back up.

Dude you are a lucky man..... a wife that not only is happy for you to be into photography but then buys you are 5D NICE!!!!

Looking forward to seeing your first shots and don't forget your dof calculations will be a little different.
