Hi Everyone-

As previously promised here are the very first photos from the Kodak Z-885, which has been billed as Kodak's High ISO Wonder camera.

These photos were taken at ISO 400, and they do not show a lot of noise, nor the typical grain that we expect to see in high ISO setting photos. I will work upwards on the ISO scale to give you a very accurate view of what this camera can really do in the low light level environment world.

Here is a somewhatdifferent variation ofthe same photo with the Kodak Z-885 but this time it is at ISO 3200. Take a GOOD look, please. There is a bit of grain and noise beginning to show up in the photos. But, in truth, it is not really too bad and the sharpness of the photo hangs in there for us.

I'd be more interested in seeing some more distant shots, and action shots if possible. For example, indoor basketball would be a great test!

Ideally I would like enough speed to stop action yet keep the best quality at higher ISO.

Thanks!

That is a nice idea, and normally I always reply with photo samples. In fact, I probably post more photo samples on this website than most any other member. However, I have already returned the camera. I did not think it was great camera. Instead, it was merely a look alike.
