Must:

covered LCD, a hard plastic cover that protects against pressure damage in pocket.

5MP+

Preferred:
Non-extending lens, so I can put it back in my pocket without turning it off.

Water proof

What you guys got for me?

Take a look at the Olympus Stylus SW series. Waterproof (different depths on various models), non-extending lens and shock resistant (5' drop.)

Waterproof, the Olympus SW series fit that description but I don't think you can get it for less than 200$.

Another camera you can have very cheap on ebay is the Fuji Z3. But it's not waterproof or shock resistant like the Oly.

I ordered the Casio Exilim EX-Z700GY. Bestbuy.com had it on special for two days for $120 shipped. I also looked at the Casio EX-V7 and the Olympus 770 SW you mentioned. They are both nice, but price was an issue.

I wanted the Fuji F650 that Circuit City has for $100, in-store only but none of the stores around me had one.
