Thanks in part to some help on these boards I am going with the Canon S5 IS as my new camera to bring on my honeymoon is South Africa. In addition to the Camera and a Warranty I want to make sure I have everything I need.

- Two 2gb memory cards
- Eneloop batteries and charger
- Gorilla Pod tripod
- Lensmate Adapter & lens cap
- UV Filter (this or polarizer?)
- LCD pop up shade
- Case
- USB Memory Card reader

Please let me know if I am leaving anything out or if you feel a telephoto lens, wide angle lens, or external flash would be really important to have.

An external flash would be nice to bring along for when you take either indoor or night shots. The built-in flash of the S5IS has a very limited range, like most, if not all, built-in flashes.

The Canon Speedlite 430Ex is a good unit - a bit pricey compared to non-Canon brands - but you at least have the confidence of knowing the two are compatible. This model recharges very, very quickly and can output anywhere from 200 to 1400 flashes, if my memory serves me right.
