I know this may be an oxymoron but are there any digital SLR Cameras that are decent and have the quick time video mode in them like the point and shoots?>

None yet. Now that some of them have Live View, it probably won't be too hard to implement.

All dSLRs are 'decent',but none of them can make an image that is low enough in resolution that you would want to make a movie with it.

DSLRs make still images VERY WELL. Using a dSLR to make movies would be like using a tractor-trailer to go to the corner Seven-Eleven to buy a gallon of milk. Even if you could do it, you probably wouldn't want to.

Thanks everyone... I want a dslr a probably will still get it but was hoping to do that as I do use that feature on my point and shoot.

You could consider a superzoom, like Panasonic FZ-50
