Hi.

Currently we have a Pentax Optio S4i. Pretty pleased with it, but here's what i wish it did better, in order of importance to me.

1. i want image stabilization, don't have it now

2.more than320x240 in video mode, i want as much resolution as possible and good sound (recording quality, not playback on camera) is a must

3. better low light indoor shooting (this one's a little slow to react, even after focus lock, and then blurs too often)

Giving up the ultra-compact, Altoid tin size, is not something I'd want to do unless absolutely necessary to meet #1 & #2 above. Would not give the size up for #3 alone.

So far the Casio Exilim EX-Z77 has caught my eye but I've only begun to shop.

Price wise I'd love to stay under $200 but if spending a little more gets me a LOT more camera, then $300 would be ok.

Image stabilization...the best video res.... low light capable... tiny... under $200 preferred.

Thanks!
Brian

if you move up to 315 or 330 you will get the best video/audio capabilities you can, alot of other awesome funcitons, and while the high ISO 400 and 800 are really noisy, they can be cleaned up very easily and very well with post editing software. And if you can lengthen your shutter speeds a bit you can generallyh take evening and night shots with 80-200 anyway.

check out flickr s5 group photos.

and check out my post here called "educational purposes only" I collected alot of video samples at the bottom of that thread.

Are you referring to Nikon Coolpix S5 or Canon Powershot S5?
