Any camera with a hotshoe can be used with an external flash. FWIW, Olympus just came out with a P&S that can trigger flashes wirelessly, not that you can't rig that up with any camera by using radio transmitters.

Panasonic FZ50, Canon S5, G9 and possibly other Canons are just a few among current cameras that have at least a hot shoe.

Thanks for your responses. FYI: I've since found that the Kodak Z7590 has a PC cord connectorwhich syncs with all shutter speeds, it has 5 mpxls, 10x optical zoom and more. It sounds perfect for our in-house graphics needs.

Yes it does and Kodak had one on their US refurb site as of this afternoon for $160. Anything on Kodak's refurb site carries a new warranty and a 30 day, no questions asked return policy. Both my digital were purchased from there, one five years ago and one a year ago and have and are working perfectly.
