Years ago I bought a Casio Exilim EXZ750 per Steve's recommendation, and was deliriously happy with it. The ultra-low shutter lag was awesome, as was the excellent video quality (though importing it from Casio's proprietary format was a pain).

So I threw out the camera by mistake (don't...even...ask), and I'm trying to decide how to replace it, and Steve's reccos seem to have dramatically higher shutter lag. And it's hard to find similarly high quality video

So shall I buy a used Exilim EXZ750? Or is there a great, pocket-sized camera out there with excellent video quality and ultra low shutter lag (and UI and, of course, aesthetically excellent output) that I'm failing to notice? I'm not ready for SLR.

Oh, I like having manual exposure control (like on my old exilim). Which is the only thing preventing me from jumping to a PowerShot SD870.

Thanks, all!
