just a beginner so i think none yet ^_^

the new canon powershot A590, SX100 IS, and G9

yes, are there waterproof also? especially under sea?^_^ hope there is ^_^

ok, thanks for the reply.

After reading a lot of articles with the same of your advice, I narrowed my choice to Canon Powershot A720 IS, based on a lot of articles of many digicam sites ^_^. My question now is that, is it worth waiting for the Canon Powershot A590 IS or should i buy this A720 IS now?

On the other hand, the A590 IS has the same 8 MP specs as the A720 IS, the only difference is in the zooms; A590 = 4x, A720 = 6x. I think you would appreciate a 6x zoom over a 4x zoom.

You can go to the Canon website to use their Compare Now feature to confirm this.
