I currently own a Canon A520 and a Pentax K100D. The canon takes great shots, but its just too bulky to comfortably carry around in my pocket.

Before I bought the K100D I felt it was a good comprimise of size verses features (manual modes in particular). But now I find that most of the time I do not use the A520's manual controls (besides exposure compensation). I pretty much just use it for point and shoot stuff like taking pictures while I'm out with my son or friends.

Anyway, so I am considering a refurbished Fuji F20, new Fuji F40 or a Panasonic F30.

I've heard so many great things about the F20s almost legendary low-light performance. The F40 seems to be way better than the competition as well and I believe is slightly smaller and takes SD cards (not a huge deal though to me on the memory format). But, I ask myself, can I deal with 36mm wide angle? For most situations I suppose it would do fine.

The Panasonic FX30 does have a 28mm wide angle, but it is not that great in low-light.

I am curious to hear what you all have to say. Thanks!
