Hey, I am in the market for a digital camara, and to be honest its a big jungle to find out whats what. But anyway I would like to have a cam for shooting macro photes of the inside of my computer ( Geeky I know :/ ) this is macro that would be used I assume? Also shooting some sharp nature photes would be nice (Including a shot from my parrents house with their very bad cam ) and last faces should of course be pretty sharp but in most reviews sample photes faces are always sharp from my point of view.

This is taken from my parrents house, it is a FinePix Z1 and its a few years old, I find it has too much blur for the image to be real good, this might be the weather/sun conditions I have no clue

This picture is taken in whistler on my trip there. This is what I would define as a nice and sharp nature photo (But what do I know?) which is also a compact camara (My gallery software says Camera model u20D,S400D,u400D)

I have read abit and have 3 idears myself

Buying a N95 8gb, I want this phone and from what I understand it takes quite reasonable pictures (but again what do I know)

A470 Seems like a solid cam but I read about someone saying A570 was better

A590 A bit more expensive than the A470 but nothing I can't handle also got a nice review here on the site.

Am I on the entirely wrong track?

I can't imagine a cell phone would give you anywhere close to as good a picture as one of the Canons.

I don't know what prices are in Denmark, but in the USA, the Canon A570IS is only about $30 more than the A470 and is, by far, the better camera.

The A590IS seems like a nice camera but whether it's worth spending an additional $30 over the A570IS is questionable as far as I'm concerned.

By the way, I own the A570IS and I'm very pleased with it.

Does the 570 have face detection?

I hate to rain on your parade. However, it would probably be wise to really define in some detail the kind of photos that you really want to take. Your solution really might cost you a lot less than you are now figuring.
