I appreciate the advice, I just wanted to throw the camera in a bag, and the S3 seemedtoo bulky... does that ever become an issue for you? I have had the S3 a while and haven't used it very much - is it a really good camera?

Yes, a bulky camera is not my preference either. However, I think you will appreciate the good pictures and flexible options the S3 offers.

Yes, according the opinion of many owners, the S3 is a good camera. I am not an owner of the S3, but I have friends that have it. You might be interested enough to read this person's blog on her own S2, and her comments on the upgraded S3 and S5 versions.
