Here is another entry in the "looking like a 35mm camera" beauty contest.

P.S. To Alex/algold-

My accountant also cringes at the number of digital cameras that I have on our depreciation list when we have to do the annual Income Tax Return!.

Most of the samsung NV series look nice. I have a samsung NV15 I picked up for under $200 to use as a daily carry everywhere camera. A little noisy at higher isos, but good auto functions, and good manual modes if you ever want to try it out. Movie mode does 30fps at 640 by 480 with sound and optical zoom (no sound during zooming though) which is great. It doesn't look completely retro, but it's definitely nice. The newer NV series have optical image stabilization too if you're willing to put out $300+. The NV series all have a really great menu system too.

I guess if everyone is suggesting "retro-style" cameras with modern capabilities, don't overlook the Sigma DP1;

Dennis-

I like the camera. I just cannot afford the price. Is there a "green" model?
