Hi everyone, Canon's website says that its new H50 has a 'tilt-up' LCD screen, which suggests that it doesn't also tilt down - unlike its older brother, the H10!

Does anyone here know?

You're a little confused.

Canon does not make the DSC H50, it's Sony.

The H50 is the successor to the H9, which had a movable LCD, which you could tilt up and down. See the picture in Steve's review of the H9 - http://www.steves-digicams.com/2007_...ny_h9_pg2.html

The H10 is a completely different type of camera than the H50. The H10 is the successor to the H3. Both are compact superzooms, compared to the H50 and H9, which are larger superzooms that look like small SLR's.

Sorry, yes, Sony of course... have since found out the H50 LCD does pivot up and down!
