Since the f31fd is no longer, what is the best Point-and-shoot camera right NOW for low-light environments?

I think Andy is right. However, if you want a taste of the F30 and are satisfied with refurbished products, you can save a lot of money with an F20, the little brother of the F30. Try Amazon or one of its affiliated etailers. I had one, sold it to my dad, and he used it to take great pictures at my niece's high school graduation.
