What would be an upgrade when compared to my old FinePix F601 Zoom? I don't use manual settings, so looking for a camera that has excellent or goodresults using the AUTO mode. My main photo subjects are cars and baby/family. The F601 does great outdoors but not so great inside or in low light. I really don't care how many megapixils, 3x zoom is fine, just a basic point n shoot is all I need. Hope to stay around $200, but buying used is fine with me too.

Also, do they make any decent cameras that have a dock that will charge the battery and transfer pics to the computer? I really like that feature of my current camera.

Thanks for any info or advice.

It sounds like something like the Sony H-3 or H-10 which work quite well in auto and have a great flash range might fill the bill.

if you like and can manage Fuji - stick with them
dockstations outside of ultracompact digicams - only in some Kodak models.
but their shots not so good.
yeah, in Auto - Sony perfroms good(according ro H9 result), but i still prefer Fuji for myself.
so i avidice to take a look at J10 and J50 of them, or F40-F45-F47-F48-F50 and etc (oblsolete models, thus - sold under $200).
i shot in manual, but change setting one at a week or similar.
also latest models of Olymopus P&S perform surprisingly good(after previous models, that produces incomparably good pics:-/)

p.s. i don't like ultracompact dc's shoots at all.
yeah, they very usable, but still underdeveloped for mass-market.
i own some, for curious events, as back-up.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to look into the Sony.

What about the Fugi F50fd? I can get this one for $100. Any good in auto mode?
