toy-boy-

'Just a personal opinion: take a look at either the Panasonic FZ-18 or the Fuji S-8000. Both are 18X optical zoom with a 28 mm wide angle starting point. Both are also fast and easy to shoot with in most any situation. Both have full auto modes. The FZ-18 even has an intelligent auto mode for even better use of a wider ISO range.

Here is a sample from the Fuji S-8000.

if you want a fast camera (by fast i mean from shot to shot) i'd say stay away from olympus sp550/560.

panasonic has a slightly better lens then fuji but that also shows at the end price of the camera too. fuji is a very nicely balanced camera with very nice color saturation. if how much u wannaspend isnt an issue i'd say go with panasonic.

AsI mentioned earlier, I own both the Panny FZ-18 and the Fuji S-8000 and have hands on experience with them. However, I have been looking at some photos from the Sony H-50 today and they are also very impressive.

Here is a copy of a photo sample posted by Jack55 in the Sony Folder.

I looked at the Panny today and it seems like a very user friendly camera. The Oly was not as user friendly, but it had more scene modes. Using both cameras side by side the Panny took better pictures ( The Oly had blured pics )

Now can you tell me how much faster the Panny is when compared to my Oly C-750 ,and do you think it will take pictures of the same quality or better?

Thanks
