What's your budget?

What do you want to take pictures of?

What is your experience with digital photogrpahy? (and what is your experience with film photography?)

Budget is not the keypoint.

I'd like to take pictures of flowers, fish, people, my tank and scene.

Some experience with digital photogrpahy and little experience with film photography.

Thanks for your time and kind help.

Kodaks have a reputation for being easy to use, but sometimes a little more cheaply built than their competitors' cameras. I don't know about image quality for this newest camera.

Though I bought a Kodak P850 superzoom for my dad several years ago, I would pick one of the two Fujis. Since I don't care that much about high resolution video, but do care more about optical zoom range (27-486mm vs 33-396mm), I would probably pick the S8100 over the S2000. The S2000 is smaller, so if you want something almost pocketable (in a large jacket pocket), you might opt for it.

By the way, what is "my tank"? Do you have tropical fish or a large military assault vehicle?

Strange how Kodak can make some of the best digicam sensors (used by
Hasselblad!) yet they make some of the WORST digicams.

Yep, I have a tank with tropical plants without any fish but some shrimps. Thanks for your advices and I may take the S8100 in a few days.
