Something you should also keep in mind about sensors and that is high ISO performance. Of the cameras you listed the Canon (IMO) has least noise at high ISO settings of the bunch. Being able to use high ISO is a big plus in shooting in early morning, late afternoon or those dull overcast days.
Thats another reason why I picked the canon.

That's a little more personal information than we're accustomed to seeing here.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm not objecting. [suB]:-)[/suB]

LOL. I am a little out there. Can be at times a little outspoken lol:blah:

Oh I changed my lens a little bit.

Amazon is offering the XSI for 638 wiith the 18-55 lens and if you buy the 55-250mmIS lens you get 100 off. So I am getting the package for about 850 after tax. Hate that NY has to pay tax @@ Would be like 790.00 if I didn't live in NY:evil:. One good thing about Amazon that if the price drops at all within 30 daysthey will credit my card back the difference Oh and I get this free Tiffen 58mm UV Protection Filter.

I will have it by wed or I am not going to visit his parents in a week. They live in TN and it is a 16 hour drive with 3 kids. He also has road rage. I am surprised I haven't jump out of the car yet with him driving. it is not a fun drive.

My next lens with be the 17-85mm IS and 50mm. That one is going cheap right now at 80 bucks:?

Then I need to get my under water metal detector then I will invest in a bigger lens. I am a weird one lol

The Canon 55-250 IS is another good choice.

It's not as long as the 70-300 you mentioned before, so flying aircraft might be tougher, but it's wider, so aircraft on the ground might be easier. And it's less expensive.

Yea I know . One day I will get the 100-400mm. If I waited for the 70-300 I would have to wait a few months to save up the money. B/f only agreed to get the kit not the lens. So it would be a slow process but I would have before the airshow in may. So the 250 I could have right away. And guess what

I WON!!! I will have the camera by Wed lol. Just ordered it!! :-)

With a vantage point like the one in the videos, the 55-250 should be fine.

I live near Andrews AFB, and every year, the Blue Angels fly over my street.

See my posts at:

So, anything happen over in your neighborhood today?

Thats what my backyard looks like in May lol. I live 1/2 mile ish in front of the runway. The smoke from their exhaust has covered my neighborhood is smoke. This is how my obsession with planes and cameras started lol. I always liked to take picturesand was happy with a point and shoot. Till I met the people at the airport and well thats how the story has started. Took me 3 years to get an SLR.
