I hope they help. I personally would say go for FZ28 if you are doing more low light work, if you are more general and outdoor/good light work then the SX10 comes out better.

I'm glad I'm not having to make this choice :-)

Hi,

Somewhere I saw a link to evaluate dealers but now can't find it. When doing a search on price for the FZ 28 I came across this, not sure if it's too good to be true as they are really low.

Below is the info I came up with on price, not sure if the links will work as I'm so new here. I know there are gray market cams out there so that's why I looking for guidance.

Have to run out but I will check back, thanks again if you're able to help.

Regards,

Bordello

Just go to the reseller ratings and I'll bet you will find they have a very low reliabilty rating. When it looks too good to be true, it usually is!

Last question I hope. I'm going to order the FZ 28, it wasn't till the last few days that my friends brought up about different flash cards. That was news to me.

So, when I ordrer the camera, is there any picturlar brand card that works/faster? better?

Thanks as always for the guidance,

Bordello

Ready to order

I use SanDisk Extreme III cards in all of my digital needs and they do a great job be it CF or SD. If you are doing video as well then I would get 8Gb. However if things there are the same as in the UK then don't get the cards from a camera shop they are twice the cost here compared to Amazon. It might be different in the US but check it out.... btw I always use Amazon only stock not another supplier as this card is often copied and not genuine so be careful.

My thanks to all of you for your input.

I just ordered the FZ28 from B&h Photo. I did the overnight shipping so I should have it tomorrow. Also order a high speed card, 2GB & the 3 year warranty.

I will probably have more questions after I use it.

I hope you all have a great New Year,
Bordello
