Default Sony DSC H50 or HX1 ????

Sony DSC H50 or HX1 ????

Mostly taking outdoor pictures with lots of zoom including the teleconverter.
Beach, Surfing….etc

What might be the better one?
Had a DSC H9 untill it got stolen.
Tried the new Kodak Z980 and returned it….grainy pictures, not happy at all....
....though it was probably me!

Sooooooooo, what do you think??? The H50 or the HX1 ????

…also, why can I find the newer HX1 online cheaper than the H50 ????

Thanks

Mahoney-

The HX-1 was just introduced. That is why the HX-1 costs more than the H-50. The HX-1 has some unique features. You have to determine if those added or new features warrant paying more.

Personally, think the new features are great, but I honestly don't know if I would use those features enough to warrant the extra expense. I am very please with my H-50.

Folks-

There is an expanded discussion going on withon the Sony Folder that has more discussion and photo examples that really tell you more about the Sony H-50 versus the Sony HX-1 differences.

Please check it out.
