Default fuji s100fs or canon SX 1 IS

Hi Has anyone have one of these cameras if so can you tell me what you think of them.
I want a camera with a good zoom that I can take with me anywhere anytime which will take good shots ie landscapes animals and just anything I happen to come across, so I dont want the bulk of a slr and changing lenses.
I have read lots of reviews and these were the 2 that appeal to me but I would like some real feedback from people who own them.
any help would be great

Boshka-

You have to keep in mind that the Fuji S-100fd is not a small nor lightweight camera. It weighs more than and is bigger than the Canon 50D DSLR camera. I urge you to handle one yourself before making a final decision.

LightHunter mentioned the Canon SX-1, you ought to also investigate the Sony HX-1 camera. The HX-1 is Sony's answer to the Canon SX-1.

Thankyou for your reply.
I know the fuji is not small but I only have to use one item and not have to carry extra lenses around also looking for quality of pictures.
I will have a look at the camera you have suggested.
Once again thankyou

I have the Fuji S100fs and had the Canon 40D the fuji is not as big as the 40D, the Fuji is a pretty good camera that has pretty good IQ i also had the Canon SX 10 IS but wasn't nearly as good as the Fuji

If I had to get one of the two cameras you were considering, I would get the Fuji because it is much better in low light. However, if I could consider a third camera, I would take the Panasonic FZ-28. It is fairly small, much lighter than the other two cameras and has decent image quality. The downside is that is has no hotshoe for external flashes. It is really easy to carry around.

The hotshoe on the Fuji is not a full TTL hotshoe either, making it much less useful.
