Good Morning, Joe-

When there is a scarcity of anything, there will always be a few people who "jack-up" the price and attempt to make a "killing." That is what is happening in the Amazon Market Place, which is actually different from Amazon itself.

B&H in new York City has the FZ-35 listed at $399.95. If you read the reviews that Mark so kindly provided the link to, you will find that the FZ-38 is held in the same high regard that the FZ-28 had achieved. In fact, the faster focusing, the improved audio for the video clips, the improved HD quality video (but still a lesser quality than Canon's SX-1), and the generally faster camera performance, are all plus factors.

However, one area, burst shooting, (and I know that is of particular importance to you) did not see an improvement, and it has indeed been a bit reduced. The FZ-35 should begin shipping soon and we will soon se user comments as well.

All in all, to at least the review provided by England's "Trusted Reviews," the FZ-35/38 is right up there with the FZ-28 and better in some respects, particularly in the video clips and sound department.

Have a great day.
