Joe Sellers-

Thanks for the nice post Joe. I sincerely do try to help folks on this Forum. As you can see my husband is disabled, therefore, in large measure I am housebound taking care of him. I get out as much as I safely can, but getting out has become more infrequent lately. Thus, I have limited subject matter to photograph.

I have to get a legal document mailed today so I will attempt to replicate some real estate photos, even though I am not a realator. Wish me luck.

Have a great day!

Default Nikon P-80 Photo Sample

Good morning Joe Sellers-

I apologize for the repetitive image but this is with a different camera. This no flash photo was done with the Nikon P-80 super zoom camera that has 18X optical zoom.

Have a great day.

I liked both shots of the Seagull. I see no blown highlights, very common when shooting Seagulls due to the high contrast of their feathers. The Sony image seems a little less exposed (a bit darker) than the Canon.

I agree Tullio-

I like the photos straight out of Sony cameras a bit better than those from Canon. That is what drove me to go did out the trust, old H-5 this morning. We are still in dense fog here, so outdoor subjects are going to have to wait till this afternoon.

Have a wonderful day.

Too bad for me they didn't increase the fps, SX10s should get cheaper now

Default Kodak Z-980 Photo Sample

Hi there, Joe-

We still have dense fog here along the Oregon Coast, so I am limited to indoor subjects today, or at least for this morning. Hopefully, it will clear this afternoon.

This photo was done with the Kodak Z-980 camera. Bounce flash was used to pick up more fine detail.

Have a wonderful day.

Rinnie & Joe-

Well I went out at 12:30pm to do errands and take photos. No horses. So I considered "real estate" photos. Take a look at the fog we had at that time.

Have a wonderful day.

Well, here we are 2:30 hours later. Still working on the "real estate" photo. It took an extra 20 miles of driving, but I got the photo. This one is also from the Kodak Z-980 camera.

They are both nice shots. I actually like the fog picture better for the atmosphere it created.

Out of all the new Canon models announced today, the S90 is the one that caught my attention the most. It looks like a real cool camera. I particularly like the ring around the lens feature. It seems like it adds great functionality in a fun way. The camera is supposed to compete directly with the Pana LX3, even though its lens is slower at the long end of the zoom. However, it does offer more reach (3.8x vs. 2.5x of the Pana). So, if the aperture stays at f2.0 between 28-70mm, that would be comparable to the LX3.
