Default The State of the Market

As a relative noob to the addiction of photography, I must say that I do like the dynamism of the suppliers at the moment. Nikons latest releases, the new Pen from Olympus, Sony bringing out new models, third party suppliers for lenses getting better and better, and now what seems (IMVHO) like a significant raising of 'the bar' by Canon with their 7D.

Matt

P.S. I didn't really know where this should go. Apologies if in the wrong forum.

The reduced disposable income in the USA economy since November of 2008 has forced the camera manufacturers to compete more directly for that somewhat smaller camera market. As a result with a reduced size camera market, we seen more new innovative camera models as the camera manufacturers have scrambled to get their share of that reduced camera market. In short, competition is a good thing.
