Newer Fuji models use Secure Digital cards versus xD Picturecard (Fujifilm is phasing out support for xD Picturecard).

So, you'll probably need to go with an older camera model (one of last years models).

You may want to see if you can find a Fujifilm F10 or F50 somewhere at a good price (you're at the low end of the price range for a digital camera). These were introduced towards the first of last year.

You may also want to consider that memory cards are very inexpensive anymore. So, switching to a camera that uses a Secure Digital may not be a bad way to go.

I have the USA version of the Fuji F40fd, well worthwhile if you can find one. Another XD possibility would be a used Olympus Mju 840. I agree with Jim C that the XD requirement is becoming very tough with that card now being phased out. In new cameras at this price level (not used) you can often get nicer color with a Canon, but they use the SD card. My Fuji F45fd takes both XD and SD cards, I've only used the SD with it.

I meant to type J10 or J50 versus F10 or F50. It looks like you may be able to find one of those for close to the price you're looking at spending.

It's unlikely you'll find the older F10 at dealers now.

charles-

Your best answer might lie in some www.ebay.com shopping.nI found Fuji J-10 cameras (around $(US)70.00) on the USA www.ebay.com website, but nothing else.

Oh BTW, I have a vaunted Fuji F-700 in a storage drawer, if that is of interest to you, as well. You can have it for a song, but you pay the post charges, please.

Have a great day.

Great. I'm glad you found something you like.

Please make sure to visit more often and post some photos if you get a chance.
