Default Is there a big difference in the Canon SD940 and the SX200?

For a novice is there a big difference in the operation of these 2 cameras? What would you say is the biggest factor other than price?

gagajones

The Canon SD-940 does not have a viewfinder, has a 2.7" LCD screen, and 4X optical zoom.

The Canon SX-200, does have an EVF (an electronic viewfinder), has a 2.5" LCD screen and 12X optical zoom.

The largest operational differences as you can see lie in the amount of zoom and the availability of a EVF viewfinder to use when shooting in bright sunshine.

Have a great day.

Nech-

You are correct! No EVF. I apologize for my goof.
