That is a great price, just need to add it to your cart and the price drops form 899 to 799,

I see nothing on Best Buy for the two lense kit. I am not a member of CostCo,, and Sam's does not offer the two lense kit.

When I pull up the kit at Amazon, I get the $1,000 price. Should I be looking at placing the camera body and two lenses in the cart separately as I order?

Yes - you just need to make sure BOTH items are coming from Amazon itself and not one of the vendors they represent.

However it does not appear Amazon itself is selling the 55-250 as of today. The camera, yes. But any listing they had for the 255-250 is from a sub vendor.

Still looks like Adorama and $825 price tag (after you add this item to your cart) is the best deal - free shipping and no tax.

My mistake, I failed to use my brain and eyes to see we were discussing the 2 lens kit. I went to a local shop and they were sold out, so I may use Costco after all this. I dont recall which thread it was in, but am i correct in remembering that this rebate was vaild until Jan 16th?
