sarah good point...

i think i just decided to go with canon and put those two cameras up for debate...

what im more concerned about is the ease of use of the camera... i dont want to have an awesome camera for low light but not know how to use it... see what i mean?

is the s-90 difficult at all? or as long as i use the P (programed auto) im fine?

thanks

Default S-90 Night Shot

Snowflakes-

I used the Canon S-90 in the P, or Programed Auto Mode and had very good success. But I have never shot in a concert environment. I am sure that it is a low light photo environment that is very demanding. The main thing will be to watch your shutter speed if there is action on stage during a concert.

Shutter speed is always visible on the S-90's LCD screen, when in the P, or Programed Auto mode, and the shutter release is pressed 1/2 way down.

well, as long as you have a good return policy. that is a great way to see what fits your needs best. be sure to let us know your impressions.

If you want to travel light. The Canon G-11 or S-90 are also travel camera favorites.
