goto ebay and search canon ec 60c. get one form a hong kong seller or from a us seller. Get one that show for canon ew 60c on the hood. They are about 3-4 dollars.

Your welcome. It makes no sense to me to spend 30 buck for something you can get for 3 buck with free shipping. All it is is plastic.

Also looking at an OP Texh EZ comfort strap to replace OE on that came with camera. Opinions or suggestions?

I've already responded in your other thread.

I've had an Op/Tech neoprene Fashion Strap-3/8 for years and like it a lot. It's a lot more comfortable than the inelastic OEM ones, especially when the camera swings or falls. The neoprene softens the shock, protecting both the camera and your neck. Mine also seperates, and I usually remove the middle neoprene section and connect the two sides to create a wrist strap.

Finally I have decided and sent off the order: Here it is
1. Tarmec 5534 Messanger Bag
2. Lens Hood
3. OpTech Strap
4. Adorama 18% grey lens cloth
5. Magic Lantern Series XSI
6. Lens pen and Blower

Hopefully this will get me started out on the road to SRL's for a novice. Thanks to all once again for suggestions and advice on my postings. All are eager to share experience and knowledge and make newcomers feel welcome to the site. Thanks
