what i loved about this camera is the view finder came out and that to me is the best thing because of how i take my photos ..

so basically i was wondering do you know any other cameras similar to this with the view finder AND has lithium based rechargeable batteries

im currently looking at these 2 cameras cuz they do what i want
Canon PowerShot G11
Olympus E-330

the olympus 330 is a very old camera at this point. i would not really consider that one.

the G11 is a great digicam with a flip-out LCD. however, keep in mind that the zoom range on this camera is alot smaller (5x) than the fuji (10x).

you may check into the Canon SX20IS. It has a large (20x) image stabilized zoom, with EVF and flip out LCD. it would be a newer model that is comparable to your fuji in design and function.

Gary-

Forget the Nikon P-90, please! It has noise even at the base ISO.
