Default new Camera with HD movie and panorama mode

hi all

i am looking for a digital camera with the following:

12 megapixels
panorama mode
HD movie recording
over 5x optical zoom
under 200

i have looked at the following:

Kodak m381-no HD
samsung PL70-no panorama mode
fuji j30-no HD

i have looked at other models like the lumix tz7,tz6 and some samsung models but they dont seam to have the panorama mode that i want or they are to much money.
i mean the panorama mode on the camera its self not bundle software.

if any one has any ideas that would be great.

thanks

Chrisc-

I sincerely believe tht you might find it difficult to find both HD video and a panaoramic feature on the same camera. My suggestion would be to find the HD video and then do the panoramasn using PT GUI.

Or the converse would be to look at a camera like the Sony7 WX-1, that can do rather impressive sweep panoramas, but does not have a HD video feature.

Cameras in the under $300 brqacket that do have HD video and do allow zooming while filming are the Sony H-20, the Panasonic ZR-1, and perhaps the Canon SD-780, but I will have to check on the SD-780 and get back to you. I know the SD-780 does take HD-video, but I am not sure that you can zoom while filming. I'll check.

Have a great day.

i am starting to think that i might have to drop one of those things or spend more money.

i will have a look at the ones you have suggested.

Just following up on my post, ChrisC-

The SD-780 does indeed zoom when filming HD video.

well so far i have found that the quality in the highest settings is very good. i used a class 4 at first. in low light the video was jerky. i put my class 6 in and this seamed to sort it out.

i am still doing tests so its early days yet but from what i have seen it looks very good.

they only down side is the volume mutes when you zoom in and out.

i will post more later.
