I would go with the T1i, and get the 70-200, the higher iso will make for the indoor stuff easier with the f4 lens. And the T2i is brand new so you will be paying full msrp for the 1 lens kit, and if hd is not high on your list. The T1i is just as good as the T2i in the photo department. You will not notice the 3mp increase, as that off set the high noise level.

I rather spend that money on the 70-200 F4L then on the body. The lens will have way more impact on your photos.

I couldn't wait, I called up the local Fry's they had about half a dozen in stock and now I am a proud owner of the T2i!! Took the kids to the park and went a little nuts, now it's time to read the manual and get serious on some photography books. =)

Here goes, good old kit lens.

The first one was just messing around at "grandpas" while my son chomped on an appled. The second is again my son (with perfect form) shooting a basketball. The third was at "grandpas" park overlooking the lake.
